2009 International Pen swap draw & Pictures
Happy Australia Day
Thank you everyone for taking part in this swap, the largest yet. 11 Countries and 102 lines in the draw.
Thanks to DJ for keeping the list up to date on the Ubeaut forum, its the only one I lost ability to edit and Nick "Sawdustmaker" for providing the original spreadsheet.
I will post it in a list but will also put the spreadsheet there which is the easiest to follow. All those in yellow will have to register on another forum to talk to their partner or send me an email with your address [email protected] and I will forward that onto your partner in privacy.
I think we got a good spread of people, it took a lot longer than I thought to arrange. Anyone who asked for a second slot has it I hope, its pretty hard to keep track of it all.
If anyone has problems please send me an email and I will try to sort it out I belong to at least 6 forums and you are registered on one of them.
If in doubt go to the spreadsheet as it is correct the sheet did not pull across as I thought.
Please post your completed swap pictures here, remember no posting until the partner has his pen and blanks if you wish. Post when you have sent and received and I will update the spreadsheet.

WARNINGHave a good swap and enjoy the friendships you will make, I have made many through pen turning
Particularly for our overseas participants
Please be aware that ammunition, deer antler and other animal based pen parts are prohibited imports in Australia and the recipient can be liable for big fines.
This means pens made from cartridges, deer antler and the like cannot be sent to Australia.
Cheers

My partner is from Houston Texas.
I guess I can expect a real big pen.

My partner, Chriselle from Penturners Paradise (and IAP) and I have been in touch so the ball is rolling.
All I have to do now is come up with a pen to give to a guy who owns a pen shop in Japan and sells his pens for prices equivalent to the GDP of a small nation
Oh well, nothing like a challenge
