My little parcel from Rick has arrived.
In it was a titanium gold sedona in curly birch. What a great looking pen! - I like it! and so does the Wife. She quickly took it and put it in her handbag, so I replied with a "Happy Valentines Day!". Thanks Rick you made my day!
Also in the parcel was 3 blanks consisting of Cherry, Curly birch and a piece of crotch maple. Can't wait to turn them into pens.
Thank you so much Rick, I am very happy with my little parcel.

2009 International pen swap
Hi everybody.
Sorry but I should posted it before. I got the parcel from Sam at wedensday, so here it comes.
I got a wonderful Stretch pen in Red River Gum (5000 to 6000 years old), and 8 beautiful penblanks I never have seen before. Thank you Sam, this was a funny experience.

Glad you liked it and more important SWMBO liked it. Maybe you don't need to get flowers now. If I didn't mention it the curly birch blank is from the same piece of almost firewood that the pen came from so you have an idea what the finished product will look like ahead of time.
Here's the photo I took before shipping the pen.
Looks like shipping took about a week longer going your way. A successful swap, I will be in on the next one.
Thanks David.

Finally managed to get some pen turning done & my parcel to Bear31 is on its way.
Hopefully a couple of unique Aussie blanks should keep Bear amused for a short while!
Still no sign of Plomanto, so I guess he misses out
Will be interesting to see how long the package takes to get to Virginia.Artisans On The Hilll - Gallery, Manning Valley Hideaway Accommodation & Workshops.

Didn't want to post this till I was sure he got the package...sadly, I had to cut the snakewood in half to make it fit the box...might use a mailing tube next time.

Wow!!!! I've been in a few pen swaps before ( other sites ), but I really think the quality of all the pens so far are a lot better than I've seen before.
Perhaps it would be an idea to change the colour of the names in the list to reflect the completed swaps? Then we could encourage the slackers to get a move on
That's not meant to be mean or anything, but if I saw a buddy of mine hadn't sent his pen to his partner then I could remind him without embarrasment.
