Wood Lathe
After something fairly heavy with decent bowl turning specs.
North West Brisbane, but happy to travel for the right one.
Cheers

Are you after 1 or 3 phase, and what sort of price range?

Sorry can't help you, your budget is too small but someone else may have something more suitable in your price range.
Cheers.

Wood lathe wanted.
I have a lathe here in Sydney I need to move on.
Its ex TAFE, was probably built for or by them.
Cast iron head and tailstock and rear leg.
Front leg and bed are heavy steel sections.
5 speed by pulleys outside of headstock.
Ive fitted an old C & H variable speed motor unit.
It’s 3 phase and the original motor was also.
265mm centre height and about 600mm ‘tween.
No 2 Morse taper both ends.
Spindle 1 1/4” W.
About a dozen faceplates plus a couple of sanding disc set ups.
2 banjos, the original and a qr one I picked up.
Asking $750 and I get up your way a few times a year in my ute to visit rels.
As soon as the shut down is over I need to get up there.
