From the look of all of this week's new growth......

...... it seems that the native frangipani has survived both the shed build and winter? It looks therefore that I will also survive!

I've been doing a variety of work lately from woodwork to wicker weaving to leadlighting and these changes of crafts, and tools, has exacerbated my normally sloppy work discipline. So, I decided I needed to do a bit of organising and at least get the tools being used for the current job up and off my workbench.

    This is my start point......

    image.jpg

I designed a universal tool tool rack which can be used to hold different tools, and combinations of tools, to suit the current job/s. It's not meant to be a permanent storage nor display rack but only to hold the tools that migrate to the workbench while a job is in progress? I finished it today...

    image.jpg

.... ready for my next project which is a display frame for a leadlight panel from an old shop

    image.jpg

Hopefully I will keep it this clean......

Great idea. My current bench space is somewhat lacking so this is a big problem for me. If I leave more than two tools on the bench I run out of space for the workpiece or anything else. I have one of these I am going to mount to the wall above the 'bench' (bench = crappy old table )
Those were the droids I was looking for.

I bought it a few years ago, used it (I think) once and couldn't see what all the fuss was about.

I think it belongs or belonged to one of the members who's a bit of a gadget junkie

I'm surprised that Titebond haven't discovered the "sauce bottle"

I think there may be enough sauce contributing here to dispense with additional bottles .

    Regards
    Paul

PS. Don't forget about magnetic strips for holding frequently used tools. I have a couple. (Strips, not tools). I would have more only I need more walls first.
