bandsaw guides
hello everybody,
I have a little 14" "sher power tools" band saw and it's bearing system has just about died and I was wandering if there was a upgrade for it or something like the carter bearing guides or the Laguna guides that are compatible with my saw?
I have had a problem where all the bearings are sitting so that the front face is touching the blade instead of the side being able to freely roll with the blade.
here are some pics.
please could somebody recommend some new guides that are compatibleindeed.

I've literally just been through this with an Elektra Beckum bandsaw and I found that talking to Carter directly helps a lot.
If you email them your photos and a schematic they should be able to recommend something. I actually ended up getting the guide set for a jet saw and I've just about got it fitted to my machine now. It didn't require too much mucking about in the end.
I haven't run the machine yet as I have to fix the lower guide before I do but these guides look really good. Much better than my old ones.
