Blade storage
Does anyone have a neat system for storing unused bandsaw blades. Hanging them on a nail is not on. I am considering making a small set of shelves with 25-30mm spacing so I can store them horizontally

Its not that I have anything against nails, my problem is the lack of exposed wood into which to bang a few more nails. I have plenty of shelves.

Fix 2 L shaped blocks of wood under a shelf at either edge. The short leg of the L facing up to the bottom of the shelf so that the long leg is a few cm below the shelf. That effectively gives like a recessed area bolow the shelf
Now take your blades and clip them into these L pieces. The blades will want to push out to a round shape, thereby lodging themselves neatly into the brackets ans sitting out of harms way below the shelf.
Where there is a will there is a way.
