Help identifying part for a broken bandsaw
Good afternoon all
I am posting on behalf of a friend. His son was tightening a part on his bandsaw and it snapped unfortunately.
There is details on the attached PDF to help.
Bandsaw apparently is similar to a Hafco RP14
Thank you to anyone who may be able to help with this - I don't know much about bansaws and haven't really been woodworking of late so not sure where to point him for the parts.Cheerio.
Shannon

Not 100% what they are called, but I call them blade guides.
Most places sell upgrade kits that might work:
Deluxe 14" Guide Set : CARBA-TEC
I actually had an old set somewhere, I'll if I can dig them up....
good luck joez.

Carbatec has been pointed out and you can also try Hare and Forbes. Take along the broken part to get a match. They are a very common machine and should be easy to get parts for.
Regards

I'm not pretty sure but I think that is the upper guide assembly. But it looks like the end part of the guide post where the upper guide assembly is attached. Wish we have a closer look on it. Bandsaw parts; Band Saw Parts for Marvel, Doall, Hydmech and Hem Band saws; We specialize in Marvel 8 Bandsaws has aftermarket parts . You may try to check with them , they have upper guide assembly and guide posts as well. But not totally sure if they have the part for your band saw . Just try to give them a call perhaps.
Hope someone can identify or give more information on that broken part .
