Pentagon 14 inch Bandsaw
Hi ,
I recently bought a second hand Pentagon Bandsaw and was wondering if anyone could tell me where in melbourne is the best place to get a new fence for it as well as a new guide block for the blade ?
the bandsaw looks alot like this one that is on ebay at the moment

It is a clone of the standard 14'' so Hare and Forbes will have parts to fit. Just take along the part so they know what you are looking for.

As for a fence you can get by with a bit of wood clamped to the table. I spent over $50 for a fence and have never been quite happy with it. A fence is of limited use on a bandsaw as they are not good at cutting strait in any case. Do a google search on bandsaw tuning.

Plushy I have a fence and set of guides if your interested. I dont need them and would mind some extra $$.
The guide blocks would need to replaced but most people just use a bit of hardwood..
They are basically in new condition. Oh I am in Victoria/Preston.....
