Truing bandsaw tires
Hi all,
I've bought replacement bandsaw tires for my carbatec 21" bandsaw. I've stretched them on but the tires are unevenly stretched.
How might I go about evenly stretching them or truing them?

here is a video of the bandsaw blade moving left to right in response to the undulations.
Thanks,
James.

Truing tyres.
I looked at your video, and there are a few others up next to it that will give you some ideas, the one from Grizzly made sense.
I helped a mate do a larger saw years ago in Oakland it had to be glued on from memory so we dry fitted it and used wood wedges evenly spaced around it to get it even before applying the glue then sliding the wedges out.
It was quite a tight fit.
I also relined the brake for him whilst we had the saw out of action.
I guess you need to reduce the friction between the tyre and wheel for it to even out.
You could pull it off the wheel and put pieces of small dia dowelling between the tyre and the wheel. You should then be able to manipulate it by hand.
