If someone must have it who isn't local, I can pick it up and hold it for them. But i am away until Monday week. Revesby is a 15 minute drive so could pick it up after work.

    Ben.

I went back to Bundaberg today to collect some steel from that old factory...

I checked out the shaper as well.... A brief look showed it as being an Invicta 4M... A brief look over I thought it was in pretty good order... It had been covered...

I really hope someone buys it and gives it a good home.

Does the chuck normally hang out that far? It looks like it's out fishing for carp!

I know it's not even connected, but I can't help but cringe whenever I see a chuck key left like that.

    Townsville auction...

Not really much there I would think the average home shop person would be interested in.... Maybe some benches and stuff...

Same size drilling head but bigger column, longer arm (mine is 600mm) and box table; mine has a round column mounted table that also looks like Swiss cheese.

Very good buy at the current price but they're quite heavy and have an oddball 2 speed 3 phase motor so far from ideal for single phase conversion.

It would be the last one of my drill presses that I'd part with. One day I must finish scraping off the orange paint and tidy it up. Meanwhile it drills holes just fine.
