Default Plasterboard or MDF/ply shed lining

Shed shell will be finished today and I can begin insulating and lining it shortly. In total a 6m x 10.8m divided into 3 rooms (6x 7.2m workshop), 3.6m x 4m hobby room and 3.6m x 2m store room.

What are the pro's and cons regarding lining the walls with 10mm Gyprock compared with mdf or ply?

The ones I can think of for mdf/ply, less finishing work required, can screw directly to steel top hats, can hang tools etc directly on it. What thickness would you recommend. Still probably require some additional studs though.

I'm guessing plasterboard is cheaper and lighter. Maybe a neater finish

    thanks

Plasterboard is cheaper but you will need additional framing to install it. The extra cost of framing would negate the savings made on the plasterboard.

Ply and MDF (depending on thickness) probably won't need any additional framing.
    Cheers.

my shed is 2.4m and I lined it with 12mm MDF screw fixed to the purlins between the posts. This meant I could fix cupboards and shelving any where I liked.

I didn't do the ceiling so that could be plasterboard.
Don't force it, use a bigger hammer.

Timber is what you use. Wood is what you burn.
