Wouldn't even know they are made from pallets. Are they hard or softwood?

They look great, very well made. Pallet pine does not usually have any resistance to rotting so they will last much longer if you keep them on a dry surface and under cover - like on a verandah.

The stain plus 3 coats of estapol, all oil based, they better have some resistance to rotting or else Cabots is crap lol.
