Default Flip, Flip, Flip, Flip. Top Work Station

Like many I have been short of space in my shed. SOOOO I thought it time to start economizing. I have inexpensive tools but they do get fairly well used, that is after I have pulled them out mounted them and dusted them down. I have seen Fip top Work stations in the past and thought they were a good idea. Also thought I could inprove on them. So I tried a station that had four work surfaces and extentions. Even though the tools protrude a little they do not get in the way. The extra weight seems to add to the sturdiness also making it relatively vibration free. All in all I think its good. Please tell me what you think.

Quite ingenious use of a small space. Well done Peter! This will provide lots of inspiration to those of use with limited workspace.

Can you please tell us about how you made the centre box, and how does it spin - what sort of axle design did you use, etc?

    regards,
    Jill

Thanks for the sketches, Peter. Interesting how the simplest ideas are the best. Well done!

That must be a very strong towel rail to carry the weight of all those tools

    regards,
    Jill

Looks like a great thing for smaller workshops or any place you can wheel it... "look honey I shrunk the workshop enough to wheel it inside"
