Just off the saw horse Money Box
I decided that I needed somewhere to keep my change, the box is made from Myrtle with a burl insert. Construction was straight forward and the finish is brown polish and wax.
One problem I had was getting the tassel, I went into the tassel shop and asked the young lady if she had any good tassels, if me wife had not been with me I think that I would have been in about 40 different kinds of trouble.

Phil - Maaaate!!! Nice Money Box, though I'm glad I won't be the one lifting it when it's full
Yep, I reckon that would have been 40 rounds of trouble you didn't need (or get)
Cheers

Phil, what a lovely piece. What is the timbers used in the making and also the finish? Please.
When you fill it I think that the handles will come off in you're hands. To heavy.

Phil, is the inside flock or did you line it with felt? The first box I made, I lied with felt before I was told about flock, but I havent still haven't tried it.
