    Default Jarrah hall tree

Finally got this one finished. Graduation gift for younger daughter. Finish is four coats of Maloof formula danish oil.

The timber all looked very similar when I bought it, but after cleaning up the seat part ended up a bit lighter. Looks almost planned

    I love jarrah

    Thanks guys.

Andy, the tricky bit for me was figuring out how to attach the back and make it so that it comes apart for moving. I ended up with a back strap and four metal connecting dowels with locking cams. Kind of mars the outside with a bit of metal, but it really needs to come apart or I expect it would get broken in a move at some point.

Alex, thanks again for helping with the panels. They came out much better than I expected.
