    Question Opinion sought

What to do with some laminated curved legs I've made?
Here is a sketch/design I've been thinking about.

What do you reckon ????

    Major,
nice legs! (insert wolf whistle ) Their curve really suggests more curves. The table looks quite tall and narrow, is it a hall table? If so I reckon a curve along one long edge of the top (the drawing sort of shows a curve along the front edge) and a curved apron underneath.

    Hi ya Mick

Yeh I reckon on a hall table probably about 850mm tall & around 300mm deep. I like the idea of a curved front edge (in my crappy drawing it's supposed to be straight) I'm thinking of putting the legs in @ 45º to the apron.... maybe

Hi Major, I think it would look very nice - I really like those fine legs, & think they would look good at 45 deg. Agree with Mick about the curved apron to go with the curved top front. As everything els is so fine-looking, you could consider a chamfer under the top to continue that look.

Looking forward to some pics when it's finished.

I'm inclined to think a bow front top and stretcher would match the leg style

I reckon a combination of Mick's and Alex's thoughts would look very elegant: curved front and apron with a chamfered edge to the top. You could even think about the chamfer sloping down from the top surface rather than up from the bottom surface (does that make sense?)

I second the wolf whistle, too. Very nice legs.
