RR , I hope no one gives up woodworking on account of my posts .
I've been playing with wood since I was about 7 but when a neighbour built a timber boat in his backyard , I decided that's what I wanted to do . The concept of using timber to build beautiful curves intruiged me , still does now . At 52, I still get the buzz that keeps me pushing the envelope and learning new tricks .

Thanks Dave.
I must confess, I did feel like giving up for a few seconds, but gave that away as I **need** to be around, feel, live, and work with wood. Besides, I'm only a very newbie ie about 3 years of real effort and work so far.
thanks
RR

I know that his is an old thread but did anyone save a copy of the box that Dave made? It was a stunning piece and I am sure that there are a few members that would like to see it again!
Have a nice day - Cheers
