My first post
I couldn't find any forum that covered 'introduce yourself'.. so I thought why not post a picture of my work and say G'day....

From Albany WA
Work shop.. just a tin shed in the back garden
Tools.. only very cheap ones from B****ngs
Wood working experience.. made the odd project over the years.. but.. in the past two years have been making musical instrument.. they are a bit rough 'n ready.. but.. I enjoy making them...

RE: Your "doobery". Super stuff. Tell us more about the instrument. What such a 3 stringed instrument called ? what tuning? Can you play it, what does sound like. Is it for you or ?

FOlks,
In case you are unsure I recommend viewing the blow-by-blow how he did it.
Fully detailed (including the stuff ups) and he's using hand tools too!

Welcome to the forum Colin
Well all I can say is that bush mechanic keeps the vechicles going with not much in the way of basic tools and do a great job.
Just like what you seem to have done as you say with basic tools, but man what a job you have made on those instruments. Just great
