Tailgate
Welcome to our forum, Gary
Thanks, It's my peasure. I'll try to upload some photos.
Sure, go ahead.
I went for a trip up north last year in our new car.
Everytime I opened the back our bags fell out, so I made up this tailgate.

What a nice and practical addition to your car.
Christopha - if they supplied square bags then you would need to buy square bottles to fill the bags.
Being a man from the State that makes the best Reds and a man who has opened and delighted performing justice on the odd Red, would a square wine bottle affect the quality of the nectars trapped in the wine bottles?- Wood Borer

Hi Gary,
Nicely executed tail-gate fitment. I've not seen one like that before - perhaps you should try and market it?

That shopping holder looks way nicer than the crappy one's thats supplied from fractory!
Nothing wrong with square wine bottles... so long as they got a square black label with white writing saying "old No7"!....................................................................

That's a really good idea. I've had the same problem when going on camping trips etc., and had thought vaguely about making some boxes to fit the stuff in, but this is a far better idea. I might have to steal it, if you don't mind.
Are the lugs on either side handles for lifting it out? Does it fold up at all for easy storage when not in use?
Have a greenie, for some nice thinking. Those are my principles, and if you don't like them . . . well, I have others.

Excellant Idea. Will keep groceries from spewing out when you return from the market, as well. The web, It looks like Seatbelt strapping.... Did you sacrifice your safety for the convience?

Dear Mr Zenwood
Thank you for your comments. There are hook like lugs on each side of the back and the tailgate just drops in.
Will take photos if you are interested. It doesn't fold up nd we just leave it there all the time.
Hello Mr Hickory
That is seatbelt strapping and as I had to cut it away from the seats, I now stick my kids heads between the gaps.
Keeps them safe and quiet. Although I do notice that they tend to turn blue in the face now and then.
Good afternoon Mr Rufflyrustic
No, we don't talk to ourselves.
Yes, you do!
You might , but I don't so just shut up.
That's it from us
