    Default Tender Box

    Hi all,

Been a while but have just finished a contract tender box for the company I work for, yeah did a bit of a salesman job and talked them into it.
Once again the old Sunshine seed drill ends and still using the brewery vat timber ( Kauri Pine ) This box needed to be locked so that was a challenge and also a slot for envelopes. Added the company logo to the lid and finished in white polish ( bleeched shellac) with enjo wood and leather balm ( mainly wax) over that , all to keep the natural colour of this nice timber.

    Cheers
    Gary

    Hi Gary,

I think this would have to be one of your best boxes so far. The perspective on the fence is just superb! Nice work on the hinge and lock too.

    Cheers

    G'day Gary,

    That Tender Box looks super!

It would be nice to have an anonymous "What do you think of the new Tender Box" form for tender respondents to pop into the box as well...

    Thanks for the comments .

Inferno6688 asked -"how did u do the black for the logo?"

It is simpley painted in after routing and sanded back to define the lines.

I had the logo done by machine but all the rest is the usual manual method.
