    Very nice. My wife wants something similar, but it will probably be redgum.

    Is it free standing, or have you fixed it to the wall? If it's fixed to the wall, how did you overcome the kick produced by the skirting board? - Did you pack out from the wall, or did you house the bottom of the legs around the skirting? :confused:

    SJM. Its free standing at the moment because the wallpaper is about to come off. I wouldn't worry about cutting out for the skirting, its only 19mm and not realy noticeable.

    Hi Steve, no offence intended at all, but I doubt this style would look great in Redgum - have seen period style beds done in RG and feel it lends itself more to extremely simple designs. Perhaps with simpler panels, and mouldings it would be fine .....?
