Woodlovers room
Had to show off our recent rennovation before the room gets too cluttered with furniture and junck.
White wall of wardrobes on LHS built by me 28 years ago.
Window frame restored by me after scraping back thru 7 layers of paint to find the jarrah. The architraves and frames were full of holes from various blinds and curtin attachments. I though about replacing the architraves like I did in our old kitchen but decided the curtains would hide a few sins so I just filled the holes.
Wife's grandmothers oak dresser restored by father-in-law.
Jarrah bedhead by yours truly made some 29 years ago - one of my first projects.
Floor restoration by local sanding and sealer guy.
Still to cram in are the bed, a small family heirloom oak secretaire (badly needs restoration) and a wooden chest.
Don't blame me for the paint colours, we went thru 14 colour sample pots before we returned to colour 2 and 3!

Lovely room and great work, Bob! The windows are fantastic! Well worth all that work. It will be one very cosy room - plenty of character about it that is sadly lacking in a lot of homes these days.
Cheers,
Jill
