my workshop, almost
Hopefully not too much longer- timeline 11months ago buy house, hire crane & truck to shift tools and timber (couple of ute loads for household effects), 9 months ago get earthworks done, 3 months ago set up formwork, sand fill, place plastic & reinforcement, 1 month ago pour concrete and yep, you guessed it, it rained that day, two weeks ago bribe neighbour (bricklayer) to lay 200 blocks for retaining wall, last weekend mix 1.5 m3 of concrete and fill blocks, today cut all studs and plates. Tommorrow I'm shooting the frames together and they should be up by wednesday, hopefully I'll be roofing by the weekend! Then when it's all done I can remove all the tools and timber from the back and front verandahs, garage & store room, lounge, office and spare bedroom. Then I'll probably need to look at extending the shed, it's 10m x 7.5m at the moment, but I've got steel purlins to bring the roof out to 10m x 12.1m YEEEHAAAA!
After years of working out of a tool trailer or the back of a ute I'm going to have my own shed! I'll keep you all posted on my progress.

Don't forget to save a spot for the beer fridge

I started drawing a layout of where everything will go on the weekend, and yes, there's a fridge for beer ( and glues). I've been checking out my neighbour's shed & fridge, he's a dedicated homebrewer and has a six keg fridge! These bricklayers know how to drink! I got the frames stood up today, no photos, I was packing up in the dark. Not too much longer now.
