Doing a mate a favour
I was asked to take a cooking class at the local high school a while back ended up 4 class 15 kids per class over two days they worked 3 in a group (talking about run a bloke ragged) all in all a good couple of days we made a Salmon roulade with white fish mousse; beetroot angel hair pasta a lemon butter sauce and a medley of vegetables and 1 ½ hour to do it in. The kids work their butts off and did a fantastic job a little bit rough cutting the salmon thou. their reward was to sit down and eat what they had produced went down really well.

When I did 'Home Economics' in high school, all I remember making were scones and an upside-down pineapple cake.
Good to see they're getting a bit more adventurous these days. It's funny that so many of the world's best chefs are men but it's so uncool to like cooking when you're a kid"I don't practice what I preach because I'm not the kind of person I'm preaching to."
