    Default It ain't arf 'ot

I don't perspire. One is hardly so delicate!

But hell, this enervating weather makes me sweat.Mowed the lawn today and when I'd finished I sat down for a spell.Must have been really bloody hot because when I looked down all that was left of me was a small pile of salt!

I had to reconstitute myself with water!!

I hadn't been out to the shed for three weeks until today. Everything was curled up like a potato chip... even the bench!

We've had 6 days in a row of over 40deg, highest was 44, bit too warm to be in the shed.
Not bad in the house even though we have no air con or fans, just a well insulated, old (over 100years), designed for the heat house. It's great, cool in the summer and cold in the winter.

    Artme

I have had the opinion that this summer must have been one of the coolest I have experienced, but also one of the most humid. In fact it felt like I was in Brisbane most of the time. However we are 200Km west of Brissy so I feel sure Brissy's like being in a sauna.

    Sure is Paul!!

I spent many years in wester NSW and In the MIA. Temperatures over 40 were common but the humidity levels were low and I found the conditions quite OK.

Humidity does not agree with me at all.
