Referring back to the original post, I think 'someone' has just changed the definition of 'we', while the rest of us were not looking. Now 'we' seems to mean politicians and their appointees - not the bunnies who have to actually write up all the bumpf, but those who get to sign the front cover for credit but who can duck the blame if anything goes wrong.

Unhappily I feel that the rest of us - those who thought they were 'we' - were never part of the master plan, which just seems to have been to keep us in debt peonage while dangling a very small and increasingly stale carrot on the end of a very long stick in front, and whacking us with a much bigger spiked club at the other end.

I'd better stop now or I'll have to go back on my medication.......
