Question Working Farm holiday NSW suggestions??

Looking for holiday suggestion in NSW where I can take the missus, and 2 dogs and go work on a farm for a week or so. Maybe ride a horse or 2, and take the tractor for a spin.

Being a City-Slicker (Sydney Suburbia) and stressed to the max I reckon farm work'd be relaxing (sort of). I guess the fresh air would do us good (and let the dogs run somewhere that's bigger that 50m2 back yard!)

Got a purebred Kelpie that I'd love to see how he goes with sheep.

Can't afford $200/night for upmarket B&B farmstays, and would rather more 'homely' setup anyways.

    Any suggestions guys?

Default currently looking at all options

    Hey Craig,

    google, ninemsn etc etc....

The only reason I'm in the big smoke is cause I work in I.T. so yep, had thought of these options. But thanks anyways.

Just posted it here cause 'word of mouth' is always a better recommendation than a web site by a commercial enterprise. Chances are that there's a chippy out there who lives up the street from someone who knows someone....

We have 4 paddocks of horse sh.. that needs cleaning up, a ride on mower and a heap of fencing to be fixed, you provide us with brekky in bed and two other meals a day and it's all yours
Sorry, forgot about the wood to be split and shed to be cleaned up, does that make it more of a bargain.
Horses can be ridden, couple need breaking if you are into extreme riding.
