We are talking about State of Origin. It's a grudge match! Since when was a supporter ever gracious? Players can be gracious, coaches and team managers can be gracious - but supporters are required by unwritten law to be as ungracious about anything and everything as they can, win, lose or draw!

That's what I was referring to when I said "typical dirty QLD play" That's the way it works: kick the man in the head while the ref isn't looking then hope for retaliation. Actually, it was more of a push than a punch. If he'd kept his elbow down, nothing would've been said about it. DB should have known better than to get sucked in to it.

The touch judge who called that one up that was the same one seen clapping as he held up the flag when QLD pushed NSW into touch at the beginning of the game. What was that about? Since when do officials applaud one team or the other? Since they became one-eyed QLD supporters, that's when!!

I'm sure Les Boyd still holds that dubious honour.
