Anyone make a compound sliding table ?
I need a compound sliding table for my drill press. It will not be used for metal. I envision that the work will be held in place using hold downs of some sort. I drill multiple size holes into plywood disks to insert bronze bushings with shoulders. Disk sizes vary and so do hole sizes - I need a more accurate setup.
Any ideas ?

I don't think you can find one specific to woodwork so you will probably have to buy one for metal. Even a cheap metal one will probably be more than accurate enough for wood. Here in Australia there are several such chinese tables for around the $200 mark that can generate 0.1mm accuracy. I don't know about NA but I see Enco has similar tables.
I made a simple version by purchasing a two way compound vice and then clamping a wooden table on top of that and can still use the cranks underneath the table. It not that accurate and am thinking of going the chinese table route.
