Rafter V-board clamp/cramp
Here is a clamp/cramp I made to help me put up a ceiling lined with pine V-lining boards (we all know how straight it is), anyway it ended up working out quite well and had a two fold use, (1) it held the board in place like an assistant, (2) it pushed the board in place. The run-out of the T&G was considerable but with this it was very easy, a gelntle tap with a mallet and it was home. If you decide to make one the most important thing to watch out for is the guide holes. I tacked them together, then drilled all of the holes a once. Taking note not to change the order once the tacks are removed, minor adjustments are all that was needed on assembly for a smooth operation.
