I have been thinking I could build a shooting board with a liner bearing and attach it to a rod fixed to a cam wheel (like on a steam train) on a motor pulley I have a 3HP 3000RPM single phase motor that I could use, do you reckon that will work? should just about pull the 51/2 through the end grain.
