Default Tenoning jig for TS - it's rolling...

    G'day mates

I had it long time in my head and today I did it (after drilling 400mm walls for vents installation).

For the center part I used two 40mm counter top boards (chipboard covered with Formica) and for the sides 18mm plywood covered with Formica (everything from left-overs).

As Vertical rollers I used iron rollers (just found them in the drawer) but if you are planning to roll it on the table, use the plastic ones.

I planned it, to leave some 0.5~1 mm between the Horizontal rollers and the fence, and then, I tight the rollers to the fence with the "Bolts".

The travel, is limited by your fence length (maybe I'll make longer fence).

It's rolling nicely without any side play and the test results (on the pics) were excellent...now I have to find some project...

And the rest is on the pictures

    Regards
    niki

Thank you so much for your kind replies

It took me 5~6 hours to build and test the jig.

If you are going to make it, may I advise that, first, cut only one center part (this 40 mm chipboard).
I cut it to 3 mm wider than required and then, trimmed it, 1mm at a time, till I got it almost fit without turning the "Bolts".

After I got it in the correct width, without changing the rip fence position, I cut the second center part so it fits 100% to the first one.

The TS is the Elektra Beckum PK-255 that came (after you pay the extra money) with two rails and sliding table of 1 Meter before the blade.

About my clean shed (garage), it's not that I want...I must...for the car to get in...and to silent SWMBO so she will let me to work there ("...look how much dust you bring to the house..."), well, I also found it more convenient to work in clean shed but, because all my "Heavy Machinery" is TS (that I roll to the wall) and foldable router table, it's very easy to keep it clean.

    Thanks again
    niki
