Bob,
there's very little margin on power tools so I doubt you'll find anything for less that about $5 or $10 less than list. Have fun looking though!

I did a lot of hunting around a month or so back, and I'll back up Mick's comments. The Bunnings price was the best. If you're lucky you might get a bargain somewhere, but its a fairly low demand item, so its not the sort of thing that goes on sale.
In the end I was given one by a very generous forumite! I wish you similar luck...Cheers, Richard

i know the aussie price is around $140 buggs me when i see the same in the usa for $80 . its kind of like the fuel cost goes up instantly and takes weeks to go down if ever. i feel we get slugged all the time . love the woodwork though . cheers bob

My son and I have had every brand of sanders. Mikita does not make a good sander. They do not hold up. Pay the dollars and get a top of the line. It will pay off in the end. I will no longer buy any Mikita tools. They have made a few good ones and most of those have been dropped from thier line.
