Being an absolute amateur / hobby woodworker, with a large shed, and a few Triton tools, this site has been very helpful.
But if another site comes along, that maybe can give me different answers to my questions, I fail too see what is wrong with using it.
I was also a rank amateur home brewer, but after being on four (4) different homebrew forums I have gained enough knowledge to create some interesting, tasty & drinkable brews, without going down the professional All grain path (Maybe in the future).
I can never get enough knowledge / ideas into this slightly pickled 55 year old brain.

I tend to agree with Gumby.
I am not suggesting that other BB's haven't got anything to offer, I am sure they are useful to some people. I too feel uneasy using this BB to advertise a similar BB. If it was offering something specialised not addressed here or something quite different then I would not feel uneasy.
Others may see it differently but I see it in a similar light of one TV station advertising on another TV station.
I don't use any other BB's as I find this one offers me more than what I can digest. I have looked at other BB's and found them cluttered and a bit stiff upper lip in that they seem to relish making newbies or those asking more basic questions feel uncomfortable.
I wish Steve the best with his new board as anything to encourage and help others in woodwork is a great thing.
What's with the Geelong connection, two Bulletin Boards from Geelong?- Wood Borer
