Domino Mistake
I have recently completed a coffee table and intended to use the domino to mortice the rails for the buttons.
The problem was that the domino did not fit between the rails and I had to revert to the old method of using a router. Whilst routing the mortices with the router I thought to myself that this is certainly not as accurate, quick or easy as using the domino.
Next time I will cut the mortices before assembly.
Hope this saves someone else making the same mistake.

Good point - the most wonderful machine in the world.....but it doesn't fit
I've had similar issues with assembling curved pieces a bit too early in the process, leaving myself with no suitable surface to reference the Domino off for other joints......
