Thread: Another Festo for the Shedster

Groggy. I was there at HWWB's well equipped shed and can confirm Ligs comments about the Jigsaw. If I hadn't cut timber with it myself I wouldn't have believed a jigsaw could cut with such a smooth finish. freehand or on the Festo rail. I have 4 or 5 jigsaws laying around my shed which I never use because they are such crappy cutters. This has changed my mind about them. But the Kapex is next.
Lig. I did read the review of the belt sander. But I have to fin d a job first. Out of money now after buying the very excellent 150/3 which I used most of yesterday. I've run out of things to sand so I'm going to sand my bench top. Then the kitchen floor, then the old gum tree out the back, then.....If you never made a mistake, you never made anything!

The festool beltsander BS-105 is so superb! I use it most of the times to really flatten-up my glued-up boards (inconjucting with the frame which is deliverd in the set). It's a beast!
Another great beltsander tool is the Bosch pro vario. I just wish Festool had invented such a small size beltsander for the small corners and bends. Bosch pro stopped to produce this little beast so Festool her is your chance to 'invent' another great tool (not in size that is...).
