    Default Festool on-site gear.

Have had a friend recently offer me anything in the festool range (he imports them) in exchange for him staying in my holiday home for a few weeks.

Wanting to know of some experiences/suggestions?

I do general construction, new homes/renovations, lots of doors, fit outs etc etc.

Was looking at the 18v Protool cordless for a start?

Planers? Routers? Drop Saws? Circ Saws? Laminate Trimmers?

Any advice would be great, as I haven't had any experience with them, only heard about the good reputation, which seems to be mainly centered around furniture making etc...

Is there a Festool anyone in my line of work can't do without now that they've bought it?

Festool plunge saw with rail. Hello you can't go past a festool plunge saw with guide rail.
So when you hand your doors you need to trim the bottom or sides to scribe just put the guide rail to scribe and it will cut exactly there after first cut. There will be absolute no splinters or anything. Get a 1400 plunge router. And then the kapex. you will absolutely enjoy your work.

hi pykie, my advice would be to get on the festool and protool website and choose the most expensive piece of kit you can find!

you could start with the kapex or even more expensive is the cs70 precisio.

    regards, justin.
