    Default TS75 to cut Marble??

    Hi all,

Can I use a masonry cutting blade on the TS75 to cut some marble that's about 16mm thick?

    Regards,

    Rob

Not with MY saw you won't.

Marble dust is a fine abrasive, as is ceramic cutting disk dust, so you will be blasting a fine coating of it through your saw, even if you are running a Festo vac system. If you are making a few cuts, maybe you should just buy a 'cheap' saw dedicated to cutting marble, fibre cement and such, then chucking it in the re-cycling when it eventually dies.

Suggestion Rob, hire a masonry or tile cutting saw from Bunnies and probably save yourself some grief.

Our local bunnies has the water fed ones for hire,I cant quote costs but its gotta be a loty cheaper than risking your TS75 mate.

    cheers
