Interesting Gauge stand
I picked up these 3 stands at a garage sale yesterday. The use of the ones on the left and right are obvious, but the one in the middle has ne stumped. It has a double articulated holder for a round stem on each end of the bar. Any ideas?

Hi guys,
Yes! definitely a soldering clamp but missing the small alligator clips which fit in each end.
If you look around on the net there's a scaled up version using 1/2" ball bearings and vice grips that works a treat as a welding clamp positioner.

Fitted with the clips they come in real handy for soldering and even more handy for holding broken pieces of mosquito coil.
