Intro
Hi folks, Just joined the forum a few minutes ago, been lurking for a while & reckon it's about time I said "hello" Times marching on, I'm 66 now, but still think I have a lot of years of swarf making to go. I was inspired to join by "Bryan" as I also live in a quiet country town in S.A. Also my lathe while not the same as his looks like a very close relation. I bought it new in 1976 from Forbes machinery in Adelaide. After 40 yrears in the last house I had the workshop set up pretty well & then decided to move. I've been here 13 months now & the lathe is not running yet!!! Mill/drill is though. Looking forward to a great time in the group, & if I can help anyone with info or idea's I will be only too pleased to do so.

Hi Tinkera,
Welcome to the forum, like you, I'm hoping to keep making swarf (and sometimes a bit sawdust) for a few years yet.
There's a lot of very experienced and knowledgeable people who hang out around this forum and they are always willing to help.
Regards
Ray
