any one know this milling vice ?
I 'd like to know what brand this vice might be ? Vice opens 150mm jaw width 200mm jaw depth 60mm ,

It looks a lot like the vertex. https://www.machineryhouse.com.au/V106
Shame they used the same pictures for both sizes.
The color rings a bell for some reaso, but without a name on it its most likely a clone.
Ask them if they have the swivel base under a bench somewhere.

It probably is, they have sold them for many years. Don't worry about the swivel base, most people rarely use them as the vise is more rigid without it. Also they eat up space between the table and spindle.

Hi Peter,
Like Dave said about the base, dont worry to much about it. Its just better to be collecting dust in your shed than collecting dust in their shed lol
I've only ever done one job with the swivel base that couldnt have been done with the vice clamped to the table. That was using it as a rotary table.
