    Wow!

I had difficulty to watch that even though I knew he would not cut his fingers! I am just stunned!

Spot on tea lady - that man beleives in what he sells.

Like i said at the melbourne WWWWWWWWS if he beleived what he was telling everyone that it worked he would put his finger in it.

It looks stupid but if you sell a jack to hold up a truck you would jack up a truck and crawl under it - If TL beleived special gloves would stop her kiln from burning her she would put them on and pick up something hot - If DJ beleived his crane would hold a log to demo he would lift a log and walk under so what is the difference??

A salesman should demo what he sells otherwise how do we know it works.

    Cheers

PS i am not that stupid to sell saw stop so i wont have to stick my finger in
    regards

Two comments - I don't think that he was really shoving the hand in - I think he should have pushed a sled or a board into the blade not just try to graze the blade with his finger.

I reckon Ruddigar's avatar looks like he's up for it!!!
    Cheers

Why didn't it work with the steak its more like a hand than a finger.

The comment/statement sweety and salty has me concerned what if your hands are dry or oily.

The he only moved his finger to the side of the blade not to the front.

Which is precisely why you should never apply for a job as a sales rep for an explosives company......

A very powerful - and scary - demonstration.
Two things worry me about it. First, the engineering and set up have to be exactly right for it to work. I would be worried that an electrical contact might fail, or that something might jam in the mechanism that swings into the blade. Next I would worry that the assurance that it is a safe saw might lead to more casual and risky use.'

None-the-less the invention looks like saving a lot of fingers, even though with improper set up or over confidence it may be only 99% instead of 100%.

Ruddi, if you are to have any credibility, you need to step up to the plate and do the same. A sausage wont cut it any more.
