2 new Sierra's
Finished off these 2 today.
The Mackay Cedar one, is going up to a guy in Cairns who helped out my Parents after the cyclone.
The other is Spalted Northern Tamerind it will go up for sale in my shop.
I had one other, a Xcut Dead Finish, which was looking great, but I sanded through the finish on that one .

Nice job Ironwood.
I especially like the shape you have produced long tapering towards the sharp end.
Of course your finish is great too.

Thanks Dave, thats my favourite shape for the Sierra.
Thanks Dave. yeah that spalted Tamerind is something else.
You'll like turning those blanks, they really come alive.
Some bits need a lot of CA to stabilise while you are turning, this one didnt need any CA until I put the finish on.

Thanks Guys.
When I was putting the Spalted pen in the display, a guy asked to look at it.
He reluctantly gave it back, and said he'll think about.
He'll be back.
He's already got at least a dozen of my pens, so what's one more I ask ?
