    Default 50 Cal

    G'day blokes,
I've managed to get back in the shed, I know without photo's it didn't happen. I'm waiting for the battery's to charge to get some pics.
But I'm hoping that someone can help me with one of the pens I turned, a 50Calibre from PSI. I cant get the twist mechanism to work when it's assembled. It works unassembled but it's still very, very stiff. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks.
Those who can do, those who can't don't.....................I think?

G'day Undies, nice to see you back. Yeah, what Troy said, + check out the inside of the brass tube for any CA that may have hardened in there. I had the same problem as yours, and found a thin layer of hard CA inside the tube which made too tight a fit for the transmission to turn freely.
    I never forget anything I remember !!

Also sometimes the friction grip of the tube on the mechanism is just not tight enough to overcome the newness ,a quick squirt of wd 40 or similar into the mechanism, and blow out with air will loosen them up considerably cheers ~ John
G'day all !Enjoy your stay !!!
