A Present for an American Pen Supremo
A deep relief cut from Red Mallee Burl for an honoured by his peers Pen Maker who cuts Quarters from the various States in America. The Texas Quarter is scrollsawn in the centre this way. The outline is accurate without the squiggles in the boundaries set on Tasmanian Instrument grade Blackwood.
The brandnew Pennies are dated the birth year of himself and charming wife, the half pennies either side old coins with the birth years of the two Dads, the right hand side in a penny cost around 250.00 dollars so I chose to reduce the value in halfpennies significantly stating IMHO where they both gained their birth surnames.
The Kangaroos have become a signature of mine and the Pewter unique Australian Animals emphasis from me as well.
I changed the design many times and like the mating of elephants sometimes a neccessary proceedure tailored only for that person.
