Apprentice Americana/Classic American
I've used the Apprentice Americana kit from CSUSA and the Classic American kit from Woodcraft. My question is, after assembly should the twist mechanism (transmission) fit so tight that the only way to remove upper barrel is to unscrew the twist mechanism? Thanks again.

Apprentice, it sounds like you may have some glue on the inside of that upper tube, often very tight fits or incorrect turning mech can be traced to that type of problem. Amos
