    they are wrapped as a rod butt wrap would be done onto the brass tube then i just cast them in clear resin, i was tempted to try the 2 pak rod epxoy but i have a feeling its not as hard as the casting resin because it does flex a little in a fishing rod situation and the rod epxoy i have is very old although unopened it may be no good due to its age may give it a try further down the track cos its easy to use that stuff and my rod lathe has a drying motor which would be real handy .

    First let me say well done and potential potential

    I have mad the odd rod or two myself and I can see where you are coming from with the out of practice but you will be soon back on your game with these I can see them selling very well. I now kicking myself for throwing all my rod making gear out I can't wait to see the deluxe models
