    Stunning work Amos!!

I have long admired the cactus blanks and it is something special to see them used in this manner.

Thanks for the comments, and I love eating prickly pear(without the outside).David, I am aiming to get to the point of being able to turn all my own parts, slowly getting there. Skew- I think your are joking!!,Fred and Rum Pig I found the new mandrel easier to use, however, yes, I could have turned them on the usual mandrel,(if you are able it is worth getting one). Salty, here is the link

I did take a few photos of work in progress and if you think it may help I will post them. Amos

That's one amazing piece of work, Amos! How are you ever going to top that?

My friend that pen exceeds the wow factor by 100%. Simply like an abstract piece of art in fact following my recent visit to the National Gallery it puts their stuff in the shade. Curtis the maker is quite unique, he put on the IAP site under Other Things We Make his house he built not long back it is quite one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. He used Pecan trees from his property and created a one off masterpiece. His forum activity and concience reminds me of some of our wonderful guys and woman on our site., I sent a post once saying so to him in America.Because I do not venture too far with kits I never comment on them with regard to difficulty but on the way they make me feel objectively. Prickly subject.

    Kind regards Peter.
