Computer Pen
Did one of these new kits from Bearea. It is a computer board kit on a Sierra pen kit. Have to say it is well done. The component board is full of components and the seam is pretty undetectable. Turns easy and sands and polishes well. Thanks for looking and any comments are always welcomed.

Very slick. I hadn't seen that blank before. Thank for sharing!

Great pen!
Apparently they can be done by carefully sanding down an old circuit board until it is very thin and flexible and the carefully gluing it to the tube.

Hmmm, really different. I wonder if Groggie will get some of these kits.
It also opens many other things to be cast, turned etc.
Beer labels, baby hair, lace, photos............................the list goes on
Has anyone ever done a carbon fibre or kevlar pen?

Talk about a high tech pen. I like it when pen makers think out side the box well done, so do tell how did you do it.

No they are not cheap but it does include the kit too. As far as making a carbon fiber pen, yes they have been done and I think Penn State Industries offer a blank with it in it. I just got my order for some carbon fiber Saturday so hopefully I will paly around with casting some in the near future. There are so many possibilities for casting things. The list is endless.
Thanks all for the kind words.
