Conkerberry Bamboo
From some Conkerberry given to me on the Australia Day pen Swap, there were many worm holes in it, here it is anyway, Amos

Very Nice.
I have the same problem (well not so much as holes more like great gaping voids!) with the last bits of conkerberry I have so I will attempting to cast them with some contrasting acrylic.

beautiful pen there Amos
a friend gave me a few pieces of Conkerberry a while ago and he told me that all the trees they have ever cut down are full of voids and holes
it is a very nice wood though and a dense timber

Amos,
Conkerberry and Bamboo this I have to see now I know the Bamboo is neat the Conkerberry is interesting. Having found Conkerberry to be an exquisite timber over the long number of years now it still has that hold on me. Good to see you out and about mate.
Kind regards Peter.Nil Desperandum

Thanks Peter, and thanks all for your comments, struggled a little lately, trying to get back into it. I think that larger voids and worm holes need to be cast in a coloured resin, next thing, try and remember how to cast?!!! Amos
